Heather began her career in May, 2001 working for a locally-owned/Phoenix-based janitorial company. Throughout her nearly 15 years in the business, she has held a number of roles from Client Services Manager, Director of Client Services and now Director of Administration. While much of her time has been focused on the client, she has had the opportunity to work closely with the Operational and Accounting staff in the on-boarding of new Clients/properties. This has allowed Heather to develop a firm grasp on the many factors critical for a successful change in janitorial vendor. Her current role as Director of Administration focuses on structuring/developing/streamlining procedures to help maximize efficiency and productivity where needed. Heather is always willing to offer insight acquired during her many years in janitorial to assist new employees as well as those new to the janitorial industry itself
On a more personal note:
What is your most embarrassing moment?
When I accidentally ran my car into my best friend’s house (specifically, her dining room)..and yes, we’re still friends!
What would you consider your hidden talent?
Injuring myself – over the years, I’ve punched myself in the face, split my nose open, nearly amputated at least one finger…I think that’s enough!
What is your fondest vacation memory from when you were growing up?
Camping with my family in the Grand Teton National Forest at the age of 8. I caught a squirrel before my 15 yr old brother was able to get ahold of one (he’s still living that one down!)
What is your most unpleasant vacation memory from when you were growing up?
When the squirrel I had so deftly captured promptly bit me and I had to go to the Ranger Station for a talking-to and a tetanus shot!
What do you consider your greatest achievement to date?
What else??? Managing to stay alive! That is, despite my many mishaps throughout the years!
