My Customer Service Experience started when I decided to take advantage of the ROP (Regional Occupational Program) while attending Santa Monica High School. I took on an Office Clerk position, which eventually gave me the training & experience that landed me in a City of Santa Monica job where I worked for the Santa Monica Public Library system for 13 years, until I moved to Arizona. Shortly after moving here, I landed another City job with Peoria; doing the same thing. Needless to say, my one-on-one customer service interaction has made me the professional that I am today. When I moved to Iowa for 2 years, I accepted a Bilingual Call Center position with J&P Cycles and when I moved back to AZ, I took on my 4 years of Facilities Service Desk experience & applied it towards the role that I now perform with EDGE Building Services. My Facilities position helped me better understand the dynamics of the overall Property Management expectation and why it’s important to make things right when something goes undone. I truly enjoy the one-on-one interaction with my Property Managers, Facility Managers, Engineers, Maintenance Techs, Clients/Tenants, and all of our EDGE Employees. We all know that this is a negative driven business, so when we get a little acknowledgement, the pats on the back, and/or Kudos from our Customers, it makes every day worth it!
On a more personal note:
Something I still get teased about regularly:
When I asked why someone would bring their Donkey to Lake Pleasant. It was standing between (2) RV’s, no one in site and just hanging out by the fire pit. Needless to say, I’m a total Cali Girl and didn’t realize they roam free around that place! LOL!!
Ride or Drive:
I prefer to ride my Harley than drive.
Ideal place to vacation:
Who inspires me to be humble:
My Brother Jr. whom was born with Down Syndrome and is as witty & sharp as the rest of us
Who I think is the “Best Boss Man” ever:
Rick Gramhill – hands down!
